Permanon Supermatte
provides your paint, trim, glass, rims and
automotive plastics with a durable, long lasting
layer of protection. Once treated, dirt stays on
the surface (not in the pores) where it's easy to
clean. Supermatte is formulated to keep matte
finishes looking like they should without adding
shine or creating a layer of build-up. Amazingly,
when applied to a glossy surface the Permanon
Supermatte will bring out the surface's natural
shine. It is safe for rubber, glass, paint,
films/foils, plastics and all other solid
surfaces.
Permanon Supermatte
comes as a concentrate that is mixed with water
and sprayed on a clean surface. Supermatte is
spray applied using either a trigger sprayer or
compression sprayer; simply wet the surface. Rinse
with clear water and dry with a microfiber or
other lint free towel. For high value surfaces or
easily marred finishes, use an air hose to dry the
surface.
Supermatte contains
no wax, oils, solvents, distillates, ammonia or
alcohols and is 100% water based. It resists most
acids, alkalis, and solvents and does not rely on
polymers to protect. Acid rain, bird fouling, tree
resins and saps are easier to clean and will not
compromise the Supermatte protection.
Supermatte is made
up of nano sized particles of the mineral Silicium
(Si14). The particles electrostatically attach to
the surface they are applied to. Because they are
so small, they do not alter the profile of the
surface. They coat the surface to keep
contaminants from impacting into the pores and
capillaries. This allows you to clean with much
less effort, preserving your factory finish for a
longer life.
Supermatte is temperature
stable up to 572°F / 300°C, which allows it
to be applied to many appearance products in the
engine bay and rims. It keeps brake dust from
burning into and pitting the rims. Brake dust
burns at 518°F / 270°C, well below the limits of
Supermatte.
